We take you to see the stunning view of rice fields, salt farm, natural caves, paper farms, secret lake, and historical mountain. Taking a Moto Adventures with us is the perfect way to get up-close and personal with your local guides in a way you’d never manage your own.

Description

Stop 1: Salt Farming
Cambodia’s weather can be fairly extreme, and during the rainy season the rice paddies which make up Cambodia’s rural areas become almost completely submerged in water. As you take in this vast, beautiful scene, your tour guide (who may have had experience working in this sector themselves) will talk you through all the processes involved in Battambang’s agriculture, and its significance to the locals’ way of life.
Stop 2: Rice farming
You might be aware that the main land use in Cambodia is rice paddy fields. Here you can be amazed by the beautiful scenery of Kampot and witness farmers in operation. The farmers in Kampot are mostly still using traditional farming techniques; therefore, you will see how they do it differently compared to other developed countries.

Stop 3: Pepper Farm
Pepper of Kampot province is famous all over Cambodia. At this stop you will learn about pepper plantations and to know more different pepper varieties. You will also be able to take photos and walk around the pepper farm as it is a very beautiful landscape.
Stop 4: Secret Lake
After learning about paper farming we will turn around to the next stop, which is called Secret Lake. The lake is actually an irrigation-dam built by forced labor under the Khmer Rouge regime. You may swim in the lake if you wish.
Stop 5: Historical Temple Caves
After cycling along the main road out of Siem Reap, your tour guide will take you to a rice wine distillery. The drink has a long history in this particular region, and is popular all over the Cambodian countryside.  The locals use rice wine not only for recreation, but also as a natural, holistic medicine for various illnesses.
