Udong is functioned as the capital of Cambodia between 1618 and 1866 and is home to impressive Khmer architecture that resembles the glory days of Cambodia. This tour will give you much experiences of Cambodia. You will have more acknowledges of unique architecture, daily life insight with trips to villages, towns, pagodas or traditional houses. Upon arrival at Udong climb the main stairway that leads to an impressive stupa from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.



Description

Depart Phnom Penh by bike to Udong. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the surroundings of Udong and continue to the small handicraft village of Koh Chen. The artisans in this village produce all kinds of silverware. Continue to the riverside town of Kampong Tralach by bicycle or private vehicle and discover a magnificent pagoda well hidden in Cambodia’s rural hinterland and surrounded by local villagers. Visit the 100 year old pagoda and admire the original paintings before returning to Phnom Penh by private vehicle. (Maximum of 30 km cycling).
